For the first time the 2019 Executive Board attends the Carlson Leadership Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. Though the trip was long and tiresome, the weekend had a lot to look forward to. Each Exec brother attended workshops throughout the day on Saturday to equip ourselves with the knowledge to better our individual chapters in our respective positions. In these workshops we interacted with other Chapter’s positions similar to ours, providing us with insight in how other’s in our same positions treat their role in their home Chapters. 

When we weren’t in our individual workshops we attended meal presentations with Sig Ep alumnus speakers who spoke about the impact their experience in Sigma Phi Epsilon had on their lives. Each one spoke about invaluable leadership and interpersonal skills that were gained from being a leader in their chapter. The message that all of the speakers presented was helpful in our general understanding about the ways Sig Ep can help us in our lives following graduation. 

The 2019 Executive Board was appreciative of the experience gained in this Conference and the camaraderie that was achieved from this trip was something we will always value.
